On day two of our trip to Cardigan Mountain we hiked to the summit of Firescrew because we couldnt make it to Cardigan in time. Only two groups made it all the way. We saw a lot of things on top of the mountain including an alpine bog, a line of windmills, the lodge, and a big lake. We also saw an ant and I gave it a piece of my apple. On the way up the mountain we found a cave and climbed inside it. It was pretty big. We played camouflage in the trees which was basically hide and seek but it felt like that one scene in predator where Arnold Schwarzenegger had to cover himself in mud to hide from the aliens. We sketched a LOT. We also had a fun bus ride there and back. Max was our guide again.

Cardigan mountain is surrounded by the towns Groton which is about 8455 miles northeast from the summit, Hebron which is about9927 miles northeast from the summit, and Canaan which is about 10,498 northwest from the summit.These are all examples of regions. Only two groups made it all the way. We saw a lot of things on top of the mountain including an alpine bog, a line of windmills, the lodge, and a big lake. We also saw an ant and I gave it a piece of my apple. We sketched a LOT. We also passed multiple streams and brooks which relate the regions because of watersheds. Different watersheds count as different regions. We also had a fun bus ride there and back. Max was our guide again.
